I really love this book. Right from the very first line, Venetia radiates calmness and care. She writes with tenderness and she knows exactly what new moms and dads are going through with their wee ones when it comes to colic. I really love that she offers natural solutions (and a variety of them) to help with colicky infants. She writes with experience, both personally and professionally, and I love that the parent is made to feel at ease in what can be a time of much stress and confusion. I just finished reading this amazing book, and my only complaint I WISH IT WAS WRITTEN 5 YEARS EARLIER (so that I could've read it before having my son)! It is a wonderful read, a must for new parents. Even if your baby doesn't suffer from colic, this is an incredible resource for parents who appreciate natural parenting. There are helpful diagrams in the massage and yoga sections, and even great tips for new dads, too! The thing that really sets this "colic book" apart from the rest is the warm and loving tone in which it is written. Furthermore, you can tell that the author, Venetia Moore, knows what she is talking about. A gander at the front of the book will tell you that she has oodles of experience and a real devotion to helping people who are new parents! You will not regret getting a copy (and it would make a fab baby shower gift! i know it will be my go-to gift from here on out!). I typically don't review books on , but, as a veteran parent, I feel that it is so important to reach out to new parents searching for "thee" book that will bring them comfort and help them to move forward, enjoying being a new parent. This book is what you are looking for. If I could, I would give it more than five stars!
